What’s In That Key Ring? First Blog Giveaway!

Today is going to be a good day! I can hardly contain my blogger excitement! Why, you ask?

First, I finished two little projects this week that both turned out better than I anticipated when I started them. In fact, I was so happy with the results that I’ll be listing them on my Etsy page.

Second, I am hosting my very first blog giveaway today! That means YOU have a chance to win something free! I told you it was going to be a good day! Read on to find out more.

If you follow my page on Facebook, you got a sneak peek yesterday at one of my little projects.
key ring

Were you able to guess what was inside? Drum roll please…

key ring open

Tada! The key ring holds eight 2 ml Essential Oil sample bottles. I had so much fun designing and making this one. It’s like a crayon roll for grown ups!

I am loving this thing!

I also made a zippered case for four 15 ml Essential Oil bottles. I made the zippered case for my mother-in-law. She uses four essential oils daily and is getting ready to go on a short vacation. She mentioned that it would be nice to have something to hold the bottles in while she was traveling and I had been talking about designing an essential oils case for quite a while. This seemed like a good time to try that. So I custom made this case to hold her four oils.

If the zippered case was for my mother-in-law, who is the key ring for? Glad you asked!

Surprise!

One lucky winner is going to receive two free 15 ml bottles of essential oils AND this Essential Oils Bottle Holder Key Ring!

It will also come with eight empty sample bottles for you to fill with your own oils. I am giving away the Orange and Lemon oils. Click below to see the Young Living page which lists their benefits at the bottom right of the page.

The terms of the giveaway are SUPER simple. All you have to do is subscribe to my blog by filling out your email and name in the subscribe box at the top of the page. If you are already a subscriber you are automatically entered!

The giveaway will run until midnight on May 31st and the winner will be announced in a blog post and on Facebook on June 1st.

I do not sell Essential Oils and don’t plan to, but I do know enough people who use them and reap the benefits that I thought this would be a fitting first giveaway. If you are interested in purchasing any Essential Oils you can contact:

Jen Simmons at Jenlsimmons@gmail.com (her Young Living member number is 2515877). She can hook you up.

In the meantime, don’t forget to subscribe so you can get those two free bottles, along with my little essential oils sample key ring.

One last order of business: Would you like a tutorial on either one of these items? If so, comment below and tell me which you would rather learn to make and whether you would prefer a video tutorial or a picture tutorial. I have always been curious as to which kind of tutorial is preferred by most. I prefer video tutorials myself as a learner. How about you?

So cute! I don’t carry that many oils but such a great idea! She is going to love it. I would love a tutorial, partly because I think I could tweak it for some other things that I do carry all the time :) I like video tutorials when I’m trying to learn a brand new skill. But for these kinds of projects, I prefer pictures. That way I can scan it quickly and study in detail where I need help. I struggle with pausing video tutorials and rewatching bits of them. Maybe it’s just me. Love the cases! Fantastic idea!

That is a really good point, Elizabeth! I do tend to seek out video tutorials when it is something I have never done before. But a good picture tutorial is a real time saver if all you have to do is check out the pics for certain items of clarification. She DID like it! I gave it to her early (because she said: “Where are my Essential Oils?” I obviously had not put them back after using them to measure and design. LOL!

I love them both! I think I would prefer a tutorial for the key chain, although the small case would be great practice working with a zipper, and so handy, too! I do well with photo tutorials. ♡♡ Thanks for sharing your wonderful creativity with us!

That is a beautiful carrier. We use essential oils all the time. They are great. We use them when the boys have trouble sleeping, for concentration and for stopping one child being bitten all the time in the summer. #Twinklytuesday

Thank you, Kirsten! I definitely need to try them for keeping away the bug bites. I haven’t tried that yet, but that would amazing if it worked because right now there are mosquitoes everywhere! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
